Eucharist Miracle Eucharist Miracles

Prayer formulated by H.E. Mons. Claudio Gatti on 21st November 2004

This is the prayer that H.E. Mons. Claudio Gatti, Bishop ordained by God, formulated spontaneously before the Eucharist that bled on the occasion of the feast of Christ King of the Universe.

My Lord, my God, today with insistence and in a particular way, we want to present and recommend to You your Church, born from the side torn by the blow of the centurion's spear.

St. Paul, whom we will hear again today in the Liturgy of the Word, states that You are the head of the Church, a royal leader, a leader who has not abdicated His role, has not retired, to use a modern image, but He is always in business.

You are the head and we today, the day of the feast of Christ the King and Your kingship, proclaim Your undisputed and total authority over the whole Church. You, Lord, wanted us to participate, but you know better than us how much the Church suffers today. Those wounds that they inflicted on You on the Golgotha are being inflicted again on Your mystical body today. Your enemies, with satanic hatred, are trying to deliver the last blows to demolish and inveigh against this construction that has its foundations on Earth and its summit in Heaven. By now, however, with anger, they are aware of having lost the battle, of not having achieved any of the goals they had set for themselves. Lord, look at the Church which is wounded and waiting to be reborn.

Now, Mary’s image, Mother of the Eucharist, flows before my eyes and first she saw your body, generated by her to whom she had given blood and flesh, raised on the cross, stained with blood and covered with wounds; then she embraced You, after the deposition from the cross, with the same affection and love as she used to hug, support and guide You as a child. What did the Mother of the Eucharist say as she held your body detached from the cross? She probably spoke the same words that we address to You today, albeit with more love and more faith. Hurry, Oh God, to restore vitality to the Church, so that she may be reborn and her light can shine, her magisterium can reach every border and may the truth fully and totally triumph as the Eucharist has already triumphed.

Lord, when we will welcome You into our hearts later, we would like it to be previously filled with the love of your Mother. Her love far exceeds all the past, present and future love of all men. It is enough for us that she enlightens us because when we will receive You in the Eucharist, we want to hold You and address You with some of the words and prayers she used to address You, ever since You were in her womb.

Lord, if possible, hasten your plans and just as the Pentecost was hastened by the prayer of your Mother and the apostles, so this new Pentecost in the Church may be accelerated by the powerful prayers of the Mother of the Eucharist. We, even if small and weak, turn to You in this prayer, and put all our capacity to love and believe.

Oh God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, God One and Triune, before the divine will we bow in adoration and reverence, we prostrate, recognizing that You are the only God in Three persons, the only God who meets man by giving each one of them light, word and strength, Eucharist and Sacraments which are vital energy.

Jesus the Eucharist, light up an ever greater Eucharistic love in our hearts, we want to be little lamps spreading it everywhere: in our individual life, in our family life, at work, among friends, in one's own Church, in one's parish community, in one's own country or city. Wherever there is a child of the Mother of the Eucharist, grant, Lord, that a lamp may burn perpetually to testify that You are truly present in Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Eucharist.

Glory to the Father, to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
